1938 Morgan Series 1 4-4 pre-war rally car. Green with black interior. A very well sorted and quick little car that is ready to use for many historic rallies like the RAC 1,000 Mile Trial, Le Jog, Flying Scotsman, and VSCC events, and is an absolute joy to drive. The car is fitted with the more powerful standard 1267cc OHV engine fitted as standard by Morgan from 1939. Previously restored with an extensive history file including bills totalling over £34,000 over the last few years. Recent expenditure includes 6 new Michelin radial tyres, uprated headlamps, complete rewire and addition of multiple relays, trip sensors etc, sump guard, uprated replacement adjustable Spax front shock-absorbers, replacement steering box, re-cored radiator, conversion to twin SU carbs and custom made tubular exhaust manifold, electronic ignition, custom made, removable navigator aid unit comprising trip meter, clock and map light, twin sensors for trip meter - switchable between wheel sensor and speedo cable, uprated battery, diesel heater for winter rallies, and choice of original or thinner seat back.
